What causes tooth discoloration?
Misconception: the shade of my teeth is merely a genetic question

What happens during the bleaching procedure?
Misconception: the active ingredient gets into the structure of the enamel and changes, therefore shatters the enamel.
Hellerdent® anwser: during the bleaching procedure active oxygen is released that gets into the microgrooves of the enamel and whitens the discoloured parts.
The substance that causes whitening is the active oxygen. Active oxygen does not trigger changes in the structure of the enamel just makes the discoloured parts lighter.

Who can benefit from tooth whitening?

How can I maintain the reached whiteness of my tooth?
